Corrosive Storage Cabinets - Polypropylene

This cabinet is for the storage of corrosive substances in liquid or solid form as classified by the United Nations criteria and the ADG Code for Dangerous Goods. These include chemicals such as Acids, Alkalis, Caustics, Sodium Hydroxide Solution and Hypochlorie Solution. These Indoor Corrosive Storage Cabinets comply with the Australian Standard AS3780 "The Storage and Handling of Corrosive Substances".

This unit is manufactured from Polypropylene plastic material which provides superior resistance for the storage of corrosive materials.

  • Constructed with 15mm thick polyethylene plastic sheet material including frame, door and shelves.
  • This cabinet material provides a superior resistance for the storage of most aggressive corrosive chemicals, such as Sulphuric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Nitric Acid and other substances highly aggressive to metal.
  • Acid resistant liquid tight seal in all panel joints.
  • Self-closing door with internal door opening latch.
  • 150mm deep liquid tight sump.
  • Self latching handle with key lock.
  • Spring tensioned hinges provides self-closing door action with self-latching door handle. Handle includes key lock and internal opening latch.
  • Vent kit included, but not fitted.
  • Low profile underbench design.
  • Includes one bottom shelf also made from the same white 15mm thick poly material. Even the shelf supports are made from the same material.
  • All internal and external panel joins are plastic welded.
  • There are no metal fittings internal or external.
  • All labelling applied to cabinet. Includes set of 4 rubber feet.
  • Palletised and packaged with strong cardboard for protection.
